With original seed funding of Rs. 2 billion, the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) has since grown to PKR 17.10 billion. For the fiscal year 2017–18, the government of Punjab has set aside an additional PKR 5 billion. The only money taken out of this fund for scholarship awards is the investment earnings. PEEF Scholarship 2023 For Students of Punjab
An active scholarship program called PEEF puts money at the doorstep of gifted and deserving students. The distribution of these scholarships is based on the performance of the students at the Tehsil and District level. These scholarships give more emphasis to the sixteen (16) less developed districts, especially the districts of South Punjab. Additionally, a special amount has been earmarked for orphans, children of BPS1-4 government employees, special children, children of minorities, and children of innocent bystanders killed in terrorist incidents.
PEEF Peshawar Scholarship Program 2023
Through this initiative, PEEF also provides scholarship opportunities for further studies to exceptional and deserving students from the provinces of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Islamabad Capital Territory. PEEF has awarded 232,000 scholarships totaling over PKR 11.5 billion since its inception in 2009. 125,000 scholarships were awarded in the current year (2017-18).

Obtained at least 60% in the last three years’ annual examinations held in Punjab, or in BA, BSc, BCOM, BS, or BBA, i.e. minimum CGPA 2.5. Students enrolled in the morning, afternoon, or evening courses as well as spring or fall sessions are also eligible to apply for PEEF Masters Scholarships.
Who Is Eligible For Scholarship In Pakistan
The applicant must be able to gain admission to the degree program of their choice on the basis of merit. Applicants to the program must provide proof of financial need. Applicants must have completed 12 years of formal education to be eligible for a bachelor’s program.
PEEF Scholarship Update 2023
The latest PEEF Scholarship Update 2023 is as of 31 August 2022, PEEF has awarded over 440,000 deserving students in Punjab and other federal units with scholarships worth Rs. 26 billion. Additionally, the total number of scholarships will increase to over 455,000 when scholarships for the current year (2022-23) are added.
