Due to the steps taken by the Punjab Government, there has been a substantial adjustment in the fee schedule for examinees of matriculation and intermediate examination papers.

The examiner’s remuneration has been increased by Rs.5 for Each paper, with more than 50 Matric paper checkers expected to earn Rs. 45 per paper and those checking less than 50 papers are expected to earn Rs. 35 per paper.
A similar pay system has been set up for Intermediate Examiners, who check more than 50 papers, earning Rs. 50 per paper and those checking less than 50 papers are earning Rs. 40 per paper.
- Additionally, Assistant Head Examiners will be paid Rs. 3.5 per paper for their work.

An examiner, who did not want to be named, said taxes currently take up more than 17 percent of his remuneration. They have demanded that the authorities withdraw the tax from their funds as they believe that this method is unfair.
